After successful installation of SRM appliance (you can read about it here) it is time now to install and configure SRDF SRA.
There are few things you need to know before installing SRDF:
- The version I am presenting here is a Hot Fix not GA
- The HF has not been tested and certified by VMware
- The HF has advantage over GA in:
- You do not need to run the enableAutoSSLCertGen.sh shell script after reboot
- You do not need to re-add vCenter authorizations after upload of new configuration files or reboot
- The hostname file is not created under
/tmpanymore
The enableAutoSSLCertGen.sh script create and place the file on the mounted volume /var/lib/docker/volumes/*
The configuration file netcnfg is located in /var/lib/docker/volumes/name_of_the_volume/symapi/config/
The options file options is located in /var/lib/docker/volumes/name_of_the_volume/symapi/config/
The XML file EmcSrdfSraGlobalOptions is located in /var/lib/docker/volumes/name_of_the_volume/
