The Steam page is approved, the Kickstarter campaign is live, the HackMeNow Discord community is open, and to celebrate this stage of the project, I am launching a community giveaway sponsored by NordVPN, NordPass, Saily and Incogni.

What is HackMeNow?
HackMeNow is a terminal-style hacking puzzle game built around investigation, Linux-style commands, logs, hidden systems, suspicious files, and story-driven problem solving.
The idea is simple: instead of clicking through menus, you solve missions through a simulated command-line environment. You inspect files, read logs, follow clues, decode secrets, avoid traps, and slowly uncover what is really happening behind the system.
It is not a real-world hacking tool and it is not about teaching people to attack real systems. HackMeNow is a fictional, safe, puzzle-driven game inspired by the kind of thinking used in sysadmin work, cybersecurity investigation, infrastructure troubleshooting, and command-line problem solving.
If you enjoy Linux, cybersecurity, terminal interfaces, puzzle games, hidden clues, logs, mystery systems, or that feeling of “something here is watching me,” HackMeNow is being built for you.

Current project status

The current goal is to use the Kickstarter campaign to support the next stage: final polish, testing, Steam release preparation, soundtrack, artwork, and future level expansion.
