VMware Multi-Cloud Briefing April 2022

The VMware Multi-Cloud Briefing is a global, online event focused on enabling organizations to accelerate multi-cloud strategies in the face of rapidly evolving business requirements. It brings vision, technology and customer success stories together. The briefing series has evolved through a cloud platform, operations, and application development since its introduction in July 2020.

Each quarter, The VMware Multi-Cloud Briefing feature new speakers, topics, solutions, and customers, all dedicated to informing, engaging, and enabling the cloud community to succeed in a multi-cloud world.

  • In this session, you will learn from Joel Neeb, VP Execution and Transformation, VMware, and former F-15 pilot about the parallel between multi-cloud complexity and the complexity of aviation, where, with limited technology pilots had to manage over 350 different instruments. Nowadays those instruments are streamlined into a handful of features, displayed on screens instead of through switches and dials, with the computer systems surfacing what’s important to the operator at a given time.
  • Perspective from technology leaders on how they’ve navigated this complexity, and applied standardization at strategic layers to drive transformative progress.
  • Demo by Francisco Hernandez of vRealize Automation where with a few lines of code we can easily add cloud providers to our deployment procedure.
  • Demo by Matt Bradford of vRealize Operations which is both available as SaaS and on-prem. In this demo, you will see a consistent way of managing and optimising resources, performance, capacity, and costs, with a unified troubleshooting interface.
  • Demo by Boskey Salva of Tanzu Mission Control to see how you can standardise the management of Kubernetes services, and find out about Tanzu Service Mesh
  • An industry perspective from an IDC Analyst and VMware GM
